Motion Graphics video
In 2021, I created a compelling motion graphics video as part of a university project for the Multimedia module. This project showcases my ability to blend visual storytelling with dynamic animation, sound design, and vector graphics, demonstrating a cohesive and engaging narrative through motion graphics.
The motion graphics video was designed with 80s and 70s aesthetics, featuring vibrant colors and stylistic elements reminiscent of that era. The song "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" was chosen to enhance the retro vibe and create a lively, nostalgic experience.
For this university project, I utilized Adobe After Effects to animate graphic elements with smooth transitions and dynamic motion sequences, employing keyframe animations and effects. Adobe Audition was used to design and edit the soundscape, creating custom sound effects and synchronizing audio with visual elements. Adobe Illustrator enabled the creation of clean, scalable vector graphics, including characters, and backgrounds, ensuring a consistent visual style throughout the video. These tools and techniques combined to produce a cohesive and engaging motion graphics video. Prior to production, I conducted a comprehensive pre-planning process, including the creation of a draft animatic to map out the timing and flow of the animation.
